Analysts suggest that the Games generated around £3.8 Million pounds of economic impact for the local economy as well as helping to promote Nottingham as a centre for sport, business and tourism.  Ben Sedgemore, Games Director for Nottingham 2017 said ” there is no doubt that Nottingham was an incredible destination for the Games.  The City is blessed with fantastic facilities for every sport on our programme.  Powerful local businesses of all size and kind supported the Games by getting their staff involved and they enjoyed the competition with busineeses from across the UK.  The feedback suggests that they all had an amazing experience and it was undoubtedly one of the best Games ever staged on these shores.   The David Ross Sports Village is one of the most impressive sports facilities the Games has been staged at worldwide and there are some wonderful sports administrators in the area too.  There is no doubt that Nottingham is powering forward and we are proud that we have been able to contribute to the city’s journey.”

Guests enjoyed a delicious three course meal, terrific photos from the weekend and a memorable video compiled by Tom Shaw of Trent Vision.
