Games Medals & Awards
Organisations and Athletes can win prestigious Awards by accumulating Games Points reflecting the performance of their team in the Games.
Sport for Life Grand Award
The Sport for Life Grand Award is awarded to the Organisation entering the most participants. It recognises the achievement of a very special Organisation whose management and staff have responded to the challenge of Sport, Fitness and Health in the workplace.
The Medallist Award is presented to the Organisation winning the most Medals.
Championship Division Awards
The Championship Division Awards recognise the Organisation accumulating the most points within its Division. An Organisation’s Championship Division is determined by its overall team size.
Each Sport has its own Sports Championship, awarded to the Organisation collecting the most Points within each Sport.
Every first, second and third place finisher receives a Games Medal to recognise personal achievement.
Games Point System and Divisions
A special feature of the Games is the concept of dual competition. Athletes compete both for Points for their Organisation and Medals for themselves.
Games Points System
Games Points are allocated to the top eight finishers in each event. In an individual sport, winners receive 8 points for first place and one point for eighth position. Team sports use a multiplier based upon the number of participants on the court or field of play.
Organisations are allocated to a division based on the number of participants they enter. This feature ensures excellent competition between organisations regardless of their team size.
